san diego

This past Tuesday evening, 6 of us seniors went to San Diego with my mom and Carol for the ASHA convention. We had so much fun! This was my first time to visit California and I really loved it! I would much rather be there than back in Arkansas! Ha ha I am not going to go in to too much detail about the trip because if I did, this post would be way longer than any of you would want to read! So here's just a few pictures! :)We did so many things while we were there! My favorite, was probably SeaWorld. I had never been to SeaWorld before and I would live there if I could! Ha ha
Our trip to San Diego was amazing! But I am happy to be at home and ready for Thanksgiving! :)

the weekend of battling over the ravine

Last weekend was Battle of the Ravine weekend and it was a wonderful weekend! We had so many family members that came in to town and we had so much fun! There were a bunch of family that stayed out at Terry and Charlottes house. Friday night, I headed out there with Lauren to hang out with the family and celebrate Aunt Dawna's birthday! It was a lot of fun!Uncle Brian, Charlotte, Anja & Clinton and then Aunt Dawna!
The majority of us!
Also for the weekend, we had a wonderful little visitor! Mackenzie was in town for the whole weekend and it was GREAT!!! Friday night was Rally on the Ravine and there was a military fly-over with A10's out of Fort Smith (which is where Matt will be when he is done flying). Mackenzie was really excited about the planes flying over!
Mike Kelly, a man from Arkadelphia, was inside the football field with us taking pictures of the planes. He got a few pictures of Mackenzie and I and he was nice enough to send them to us!
Saturday night after the football game, my parents and I headed out to the DeWitts with Mackenzie for dinner with the whole family plus the Talbert's (Anja's family). We had a lot of fun! This is my cousins daughter, Ella. Does she not have the most gorgeous blue eyes?

It was so much fun getting to be with all of them family! It needs to happen a lot more often! :)

speechie halloween party

So I am a little behind on updating my blog and I apologize! Ha ha so now, I am about to get all caught up! The Tuesday before Halloween, the speechies all went out to Carol's house (Carol Morgan is our professor in case you don't know) and we had our own Halloween party! It was so much fun! We all dressed up and there were costumes for the best outfits and there were some really funny costumes! Sara, Chelsy and I dressed up as 80's workout girls and it was so much fun! I am guilty of still wearing my outfit on a regular basis b/c it is just too comfy! Sara, me and Chelsy. I must say that our boombox made the whole outfit!

Later that week, as you all know, my future husband, David Freese, and the rest of the Cardinals won the World Series! It was absolutely wonderful!!!! (:
