Forgot this update!! :)

Two weekends ago, my dad and I went hunting and I got these two 8-points within about 30 minutes of eachother! :)

Okayy, I know I've been horrible about updating but I'm trying to get better about it, I really am!!! Anywho, there hasn't been a whole lot going on since the last time I updated. Last Saturday, I went to Colorado to spend Thanksgiving with Matt. It was so much fun!! :) On Sunday, Luke, Laura, Matt and I all went out to dinner at Olive Garden. It was a lot of fun! I really like Laura && it's nice to have a girl around sometimes! ;) On Monday, Matt and I went to see Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part I. It was SSSOOOOOO good!!!! I love Harry Potter and I don't want to have to wait until the next movie comes out!!!! :) Tuesday was a lazy day. We just laid around the house and watched tv/movies. It wasn't anything too exciting but we always have fun. :) On Wednesday, Matt's grandparents came in to town for the holiday. We all went to dinner (Laura joined in the festivities as well) at Pasta Jay's. Pasta Jay's is a really nice Italian restaurant in Denver and I ate entirely too much food but it was all SSSOOO good! Thursday was Thanksgiving and we spent the whole day at the house just cooking, hanging out and getting stuff ready. It was a lot of fun to be with his whole family and meet everyone and see how they celebrate things. It was really different from the way my family celebrates things but I really enjoyed it. Friday was the day I had to come home, unfortunately. :( We woke up early, around 7:30 and got dressed, etc. Then he took me to breakfast :) && then we went back to the house and watched a movie and some TV and then his mom came home and made us some lunch. And then it was time to leave. :(

I had a GREAT Thanksgiving and I wasn't ready to leave what so ever. BUT, when I got home, my precious little baby niece was at my house which made everything so much better.

Today has been a boring day. It has been a lay around the house in your PJ's all day and eat while not doing anything productive day and it has been marvelous. :)

Lately...

I haven't updated in a while so here we go....

A few weeks ago was homecoming/Tiger Tunes weekend! Emilee, Brooke, Annie and Becker all came down to partake in the festivities! :)

Mackenzie was here with us for that weekend and momma Nan took her around the pre-game festivities to meet and greet everyone and by the time the game was about to start, she was flat out exhausted.
Anywho, blah blah blah. For Halloween this year, Mackenzie was a chilli pepper and she was PRECIOUS!!!! :)
I made the highest grade on my last history test!!!!!!! :)
At our Speechie pond party, there was a costume contest and the 2nd place group got this...it's a giant marshmallow brain....that weighed about 20lbs no lie.
Friday night, I went on a cousin date with Lauren. Before we left for Little Rock, I had to stop by my moms office and LOOK WHO WAS THERE!!!!! My long lost love, Grant! :)
Anywho, that's all the update I have for now. Well, that's all that I can update on here anyway! :) I'll be back with more when the time comes!!!

UPDATE!

A while back, Mackenzie attended her first OBU game with me! :) However, I didn't have all of the pictures from that game considering they were on Molly Anne's camera! :/ BUT I have them now! So here they are! :)

Battle of the Sexes

This past Saturday night, six of us went to Hot Springs for a bowling night!!! :)

We went to dinner at Olive Garden and then we all headed to the bowling alley for not just bowling...but cosmic bowling. Which makes it 20 times better.

We had 3 boys (Beau, Trevor and Kyle) and 3 girls (me, Maranda, and Alyssa). The guys were being a little cocky about the whole thing so we decided to split in to two teams and have a boys against girls competition. (which the girls one thanks to my roommate who is a great bowler. who knew??).

This is Kyle, who was freaking amazing at bowling and he made me really mad. lol

Now my bowling abilities are somewhat unique. When I bowl correctly, it's a gutter ball every time. No matter what. However, when I walk/run and then throw the ball between my legs (from behind), it's a spare/strike almost every time. Not real sure how that works but whatever. So anyway, I was bowling between my legs and my toe hit the lane right when I released the ball and I slipped, fell FLAT on my back and still got a spare. Yeah, my skills are that legit. Anywho, after the fall, I decided to change up my bowling form to this:

The evening was interesting and it was so great to take a break from school and stress and just have fun. And I do believe we will be doing this more often. It was amazing. :)

The Perfect Day! (:

Last Wednesday, I went to Colorado for fall break and it was so much fun!! (:

On Thursday, Angie, Chris and I went out for the day while Matt was in class. We went and had an AMAZING lunch in Old Town in Ft. Collins and then we went to a pumpkin patch because we wanted to carve pumpkins! (:
The pumpkin patch was so neat! It was a little bit of a drive to get there but it was definitely worth it! Angie was the only one who had done a corn maze, so luckily, Chris and I got to experience one as well. The workers told us that the "Stalker" maze should only take about 20-25 minutes. We were pretty confident in making it through the whole thing in under 20.
It started out fairly easy, and we started to get a little cocky. Then, we realized we were really lost and were going to be there for more that 20-25 minutes! :/
After we completed our corn maze and picked out some freaking awesome pumpkins, we headed back to the house to begin carving! (: This is Angie and Chris:

This is Matt and I (: He came out there and watched me carve my pumpkin, but didn't participate and carve his own unfortunately :/ I guess you could say he helped me carve mine by providing me with moral support! (:

This is my marvelous carving job! :) There are stars that go all the way around the pumpkin...it took me FOREVER to carve!!
Thursday night, we all went back to the pumpkin patch and went to the haunted corn maze. It really was so scary! It was so much fun though! (:

Saturday morning, Matt, Luke, Mr. Mueller, and I all headed down to Colorado Springs to watch the Air Force vs. Colorado State game. It was so much fun! Matt's best friend Mike attends the academy so it was neat getting to hang out with him and get the low down on everything! Air Force pretty much murdered CSU btw. The game was ugly :/
Sunday morning, Matt drove me to the airport and I headed back home! :(

Fall break was so much fun and VERY much needed! (:
