Texas Trip

Man oh man am I behind on my updates! :/ Well, I guess I'll start where I left off. A few weeks ago, I went down to Texas to visit my roommate Sara who lives in Flower Mound, TX. We had so much fun! And I really can't wait to move in to our new apartment next month!! (: Anyway, while I was at Sara's, her dog LOVED all of the attention he got. If you can't tell in this picture, Tucker was enjoying sharing a bed with us!The second day I was there, we went shopping and just kind of hung out. Sara showed me around the town and we went and saw the actual flower mound, which was pretty cool! That night, we went to this festival that they have in town and it was a lot of fun! We saw the Josh Abbott Band, the Josh Crowe Band and then we watched a firework show! This is Sara and me before the concert! (: (If you can't tell by her freaking leg muscles, she's a softball player lol)

My camera is a little ghetto so I got a ton of horrible, blurry pictures. However, I luckily got one good one out of about 50!
After the concert and fireworks, us and few others went to look for the band to see if we could get some autographs. Unfortunately, Josh Abbott had already left BUT we got to meet the Josh Crowe band? and we went and sat on their tour bus for a few minutes and talked and then we had to go so our ride wouldn't leave us! We just went back to her house afterwards, went to bed, and then woke up the next morning and went to the pool. We had so much fun! & I can't wait till the fall!! (:

OBU's Graduation

Yesterday, OBU had their May 2011 graduation. It was a bitter sweet event! A bunch of my best friends graduated and I was so proud of them! :) This is a picture of the OBU diploma, Sam and I, Kyle and I and then me, AnnaLeigh and Lindsey. Sam is one of my closest friends. He graduated yesterday and it was very sad. Sam was accepted in to the Peace Corps and he leaves in August for Zambia, Africa for 27 months. :( As most of you know, I am in charge of OBU's diamond doll's, which are the girls that take care of the baseball team. The past two years, I have been Kyle's diamond doll and we got really close. He is probably the nicest person I have ever met and I am going to miss him so much! :( Also this semester, I have gotten really close to AnnaLeigh and Lindsey, who are with me in the bottom picture. We have so much fun together and I am gonna miss AnnaLeigh so much!!

Graduation was a lot of fun. I am so proud of all of them and I'm really going to miss them! :(

Fish Olympics

Last week was finals week! :/ Which means there were no classes and everyone studied for finals. EXCEPT for us! (: My friends and I decided we would rather go to my pond behind my house and do a little fishing! So, every day during finals week, except for Thursday and Friday, we went fishing! Nick, AnnaLeigh, Sam, Sara and Brock decided we would have fish olympics. This is a picture of Clear Lake (Where I went fishing with my friends Beau and Kurt one day), then Sara and her fish, Sam and his classy fishing attire, and then AnnaLeigh and Nick with the fish that AnnaLeigh caught!Fish olympics were a lot of fun!! Sara got gold! She caught like 12 fish and a turtle! :( I kept catching Shamu, because he kept taking my bait and then he'd swim off real fast and just snap my line in two seconds! I was not a happy camper! :( But, we had so much fun!!!

Matt's Graduation

I am extremely late with posting this and I have zero excuses as to why it has taken so long to do so! Anywho, a couple of weekens ago (more like a month ago), we all loaded up and traveled to Enid, OK to see Matt graduate from flight school! He got his wings and is officially a pilot now!! YAYYY!!!!!! :)

Matt has worked so hard to get this far and I am so proud of how well he has been doing!!! :)

Lake Day!

In my last post I talked about how AnnaLeigh, Lindsey and I went to the lake after classes on Friday. Well, we took pictures on Lindsey's camera and I finally got them!! (:

Three Pea's in a Pod

This weekend has been so much fun and it's only Saturday! (:

Yesterday afternoon, my friend Lindsay drove down from Benton and met AnnaLeigh and I out at the lake after classes and we laid out and just had some fun girl time! hehe (: We made some pizza last night and then we headed over to Brock's and we just watched movies with some people! On our way to Brock's, as I was walking down my stairs, I realized that I locked my keys in my apartment! :/ So, Lindsay decided to try our luck and climb up to my balcony and maybe my door would be unlocked...

Well, it wasn't unlocked unfortunately...but it was quite the adventure! hehe

This morning, we all woke up, went to Sonic for breakfast, and then we went to the lake and laid out! :) :) :) after about an hour and a half, we went back in to town and went to the OBU vs. HSU baseball game! (: We decided that we don't take enough pictures, so today we took a TON!!!!!

Fun Times!

Last night, we all went out to a bonfire! My friend Coleman and I were matching perfectly and didn't even plan it! (:Today was a little bit more relaxing! We went to the softball games! My roommate for next semester, Sara, hit a homerun today!!!!! (: After the games, AnnaLeigh, Karley and I went to Wal-Mart and got a little shopping done. Then, we went back to my apartment and made dinner for Sam, Kyle, Beau and Landon. We had so much fun!!! We made tacos, homemade cheesedip and homemade red velvet cupcakes! Sam and I were sharing a giant bowl chair and had to balance the plate and cupcake on our legs. I think we did a fairly well job with it all! Don't you think?
There is this app on the iPhone that is called "Fat Booth." We couldn't help but try it out and this is what my picture turned out as:
And Sam, being the fatty that he is, had to take a bite of his cupcake RIGHT before the picture was taken...
Today was so much fun and cooking was so very therapeutic for AnnaLeigh and I...it has been a long week! Anywho, I need to do my homework now! (:
